Arrogant Crow Learns Humility

One day, a crow stumbled upon several peacock feathers scattered in the forest. Overjoyed, he thought to himself, What a blessing! With these feathers, I can transform myself into a stunning peacock. Excited, the crow attached the peacock feathers to his tail. Admiring his new look, he said, Now I’m more beautiful than the peacocks themselves! I’ll join their group and enjoy life with them.

With great pride, the crow walked over to the peacocks. However, the moment they saw him, they burst into laughter. One of the peacocks said, Look at this foolish crow! He thinks he can become one of us by wearing our discarded feathers. Let’s teach him a lesson! The peacocks attacked the crow with their beaks and claws, leaving him bruised and humiliated. The crow, realizing his mistake, ran back to his fellow crows and started complaining about the peacocks

An elderly crow listened to his complaints and said, This crow used to mock us and dream of becoming a peacock. He never understood that those who are dissatisfied with their nature face humiliation everywhere. After being beaten by the peacocks, he now seeks sympathy from us. Such behavior deserves no forgiveness. Hearing this, the other crows turned on him as well, scolding and punishing him for his arrogance and foolishness.

Moral:  Be content with who you are and embrace your true nature. True greatness lies in accepting yourself and focusing on your own strengths.
