What Will Society Say?

What will society say, they ask with a glare,
If you follow your dreams, if you dare to care?
Will they laugh or will they cheer,
When you choose a path that isn't clear?

In India’s lanes or America’s streets,
The pressure to fit in, the constant defeats.
But remember, dear student, in every land,
Your dreams are yours to hold in your hand.

Don’t measure your worth by their measuring tape,
Don’t bend to their rules, don’t escape your fate.
For each step you take, in silence or loud,
You’re breaking the chains of what makes them proud.

What will society say? Let them speak their part,
But always remember, you know your heart.
In every moment, in every choice,
It’s your own voice that should rejoice.

So stand tall, and stand strong,
For following your dreams is where you belong.
Chase the impossible, with courage and might,
Don’t be afraid to rise and take flight.
