Feeling Weak Motivation

Feeling Weak Motivation

Once upon a time in a small American town, a determined young girl named Lily was on a mission. She had lost a special coin in a large oak tree’s hollow and wanted it back. She went to the tree and said, Please give me back my coin.

The tree chuckled and replied, Why should I? Go away.

Frustrated, Lily ran to a woodcutter and pleaded, Cut this tree down! It won’t return my coin.

The woodcutter laughed. Chop down a whole tree for one little coin? That’s ridiculous!

Undeterred, Lily went to the town’s mayor. Sir, punish the woodcutter! He refuses to cut down the tree that took my coin.

The mayor shook his head. You came to me for such a small matter? I won’t interfere in this.

Determined to find a way, Lily visited the town’s elephant trainer. Tomorrow, when the mayor rides the elephant, make sure he falls off.

Shocked, the trainer said, Why would I do that?
Lily explained her problem again, but the trainer refused to help.

Running out of options, she approached an ant and whispered, Crawl into the elephant’s trunk and irritate him. That’ll get the mayor’s attention.
The ant was confused. Why should I help you?

Lily smirked. Because if you don’t, I can easily pick you up and crush you. Think about it.

Panicked, the ant agreed and went straight to the elephant. The elephant grew restless and ran toward the trainer. The trainer rushed to the mayor, and the mayor finally called the woodcutter. Cut down that tree!

Before the woodcutter could swing his axe, the tree trembled. Wait! I’ll give back the coin! There’s no need to cut me down.

Moral:  Time is the most valuable asset we have. Those who use it wisely succeed, while those who waste it fall behind. Hard work, discipline, and time management are the keys to success in life.
